As a Data Quality Engineer, you will own the implementation and ongoing refinement of data quality initiatives for critical business domains. Your expertise will help ensure our data remains accurate, consistent, and compliant, supporting enterprise systems including ERP, CRM, analytics platforms, and customer-facing applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish accountability, define data standards, and develop proactive monitoring strategies to reduce operational inefficiencies and improve data trustworthiness.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in data quality, data engineering, data governance, or analytics
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and analysis
- Experience with data pipelines and transformation tools, preferably Azure Data Factory
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose cross-system data issues
- Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of relational data modeling, normalization, and schema design
- Ability to work independently within distributed teams
Nice To Have Skills
- Experience working in commercial, distribution, or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with data governance and metadata tools such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Alation, or Informatica
- Knowledge of master data management concepts for Customer and Product domains
- Experience with data quality frameworks aligned with DAMA-DMBOK or ISO-8000 standards
- Exposure to CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot, and ERP systems such as Epicor
- Supporting analytics platforms like Power BI
Other Requirements
- Ability to support data classification standards aligned with GDPR, CCPA, and other regulatory frameworks
- Familiarity with data lineage and classification tools such as Microsoft Purview
- Willingness to operate independently and proactively in a fast-paced, remote, or distributed environment
