About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, data warehousing, ETL processes, and test automation. This role requires a proactive individual who ensures the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of our data systems.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data systems through automated testing and ETL processes.
- Work with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, SAP BusinessObjects, Tableau, or Dundas BI to enhance data quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data quality standards and processes.
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts using tools like X-Ray, TestRail, or Zephyr.
- Participate in data governance initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Experience with automated testing (such as X-Ray, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.), ETL and SQL.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, SAP BusinessObjects, Tableau, or Dundas BI.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data quality assurance and testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
- Knowledge of data quality best practices and standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
