Roles & Responsibilities

• Carry out daily laser safety tests utilizing approved EH&S checklists.
• Keep detailed testing logs and maintain compliance records.
• Inspect hardware systems for safe operation and address any issues promptly.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
• Enforce strict safety protocols and no-phone policies.
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) standards.

Generic Managerial Skills

• Familiarity with workplace safety standards (OSHA preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and capability to follow SOPs.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited institution with a degree in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of experience in safety, laboratory, or technical operations.

Skills

• Strong communication and escalation skills.
• Ability to work in high-security environments.

Pay

$40,000 - $50,000 per year
