About the role
The Oregon Department of Human Services seeks a Data Operations Manager (Business Operations Manager 2) to lead the Data Office. This role involves overseeing analytics and reporting services, guiding teams, strengthening data governance, and collaborating with various stakeholders to support better outcomes for over one million Oregonians annually.
Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of enterprise analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and data services.
- Supervise multiple teams, establish operational priorities and service standards, oversee workload planning, and ensure data products are delivered accurately, efficiently, and aligned with agency governance and strategic priorities.
- Translate enterprise data governance into operational practice, foster collaboration across programs, improve business processes, and cultivate a culture of accountability, innovation, equity, and customer service.
- Support the agency's mission by ensuring trusted data is available to inform policy, programs, and decisions that improve the lives of Oregonians.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Six years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience; OR three years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
