Data Modernization Program Manager
Role Description
Program Manager - Onshore Seasoned Data Modernization Program Manager to lead largescale enterprise data transformation initiatives. This role will drive end-to-end modernization from legacy platforms (e.g. SSIS, SQL Server) to modern cloud-based architectures (e.g. Snowflake) while acting as the primary interface between business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and leadership.
Experience
- 15 years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and Program Management
- Proven experience managing large data modernization migration programs
- Strong experience in the Insurance domain
- Preferred exposure to PC
- Exposure to AI-driven data engineering automation frameworks
- Strong experience transitioning programs into Managed Services (MSM) models
- Strong program management experience for multimillion-dollar programs
- Proven ability to manage distributed teams onshore/offshore
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Snowflake data warehousing performance, cost optimization, SSIS legacy ETL platforms, data migration frameworks and tools
- Exposure to Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with ELT/ETL orchestration, data pipelines, CICD, data quality governance, and validation frameworks
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of data modernization programs, including discovery, design, migration, validation, and stabilization
- Ensure adherence to timelines, quality benchmarks, and cost functions
- Act as a technical mentor for teams in the program
- Drive strategic conversations with the customer
- Provide strong oversight on data architecture migration approach and target-state design
- Drive transformation from legacy ETL (SSIS) to modern cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake)
- Ensure data quality validation, reconciliation, and downstream system alignment
- Act as the primary point of contact and POI for business client stakeholders and leadership
- Drive requirement alignment with business domains and downstream
- Lead governance forums, Executive Program Reviews, WSR, budgeting, MOC, Governance, Risk, Compliance
- Identify and mitigate risks related to data migration, downstream integration, and performance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory audits and data governance standards
- Practice leadership and solutioning
- Support solutioning estimations and SOW development for supplemental data programs
- Drive standardization best practices and continuous improvement

Variable Compensation: This position includes a bonus or variable payout component based on individual and organizational performance. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance, and internal equity.
