Data Modeler

About the role

We are seeking a professional to lead data modeling initiatives, including reverse engineering physical data models into logical data models, developing future state architectures, and establishing best practices for data modeling across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer our physical data models into documented logical data models to establish a current state data architecture diagram.
• Develop future state conceptual and logical data modeling for Sales Enablement and Enterprise Lending Framework.
• Document Data Modeling best practices and conduct data modeling learning and development with data management, BI, Database Ops, App Leads, and Database Developers.
• Reverse engineer physical data models into documented logical data models and use our data lineage solution to identify impacted systems to model, including Relationship, Customer Information Vault, and other systems required for Sales Enablement and Enterprise Lending Framework initiatives.
• Develop future state conceptual and logical data modeling to include business processes for future CRM (such as Salesforce) and future Enterprise Lending Solution (such as NCino).
• Document best practices and procedures on Data Modeling into our Data Playbook.
• Create and/or reuse external training content for novice, intermediate, and advanced data modeling practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field (or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned subjects).
