Job Description Job responsibilities: Work with product owners and business SMEs to catalog data products for the Payments organization, per firmwide standardsActively drive expansion of the Payments data catalog, and maturation of content to maximize discoverability and leverage (measured by firmwide KPIs)Provide oversight/governance on firmwide platform enhancements to support the Payments data product strategyEnsure all risks, issues and dependencies impacting effective delivery are managed effectively and communicated in an effective mannerDevelop strong partnerships with Firmwide Technology to support effective migration to, and adoption of new data catalog tooling and functionalityIdentify opportunities to intersect with other Data Management functions to improve meta data and consistency of definitionsBuild strong partnerships across Payments and Corporate Functions to support Data Catalog and Payments data product effortsCollaborate with the Information Architecture team to identify synergies between logical and physical data descriptions, and drive related / subsequent strategic initiativesParticipate in Information Architecture / Data governance bodiesDisplay thought leadership in data management techniques and methodologiesPerform project management and deep business analysis on specific high profile data issues/initiativesProactively identify synergies within the rest of the Payments CDO BOW, and effectively collaborate with team members to deliver on impact driven opportunitiesAdd to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect Required Qualification, Capabilities, And Skills 10+ years' experience in financial services with data analytics / data management / data product management backgroundStrong understanding of data governance and metadata management conceptsExperience in driving/managing projects and programs focused on metadata management, data dictionaries etc.. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
