About the role

Supervise and oversee the data team to design, develop, and manage end-to-end analytical solutions. Define and drive the data strategy in alignment with the company's objectives, ensuring data quality and coherence. Manage the flow of data projects from collection to analysis, including modeling and visualization. Implement modern and scalable data architectures, integrating cloud and big data solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP, Hadoop). Optimize data integration, transformation, and management using ETL tools (Talend, Apache NiFi).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coach the data team for the conception, development, and management of analytical solutions.
  • Define and lead the data strategy in collaboration with the business units, ensuring data quality and coherence.
  • Manage the data project lifecycle, from data collection to analysis, modeling, and visualization.
  • Implement modern and scalable data architectures, integrating cloud and big data solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP, Hadoop).
  • Optimize data integration, transformation, and management using ETL tools (Talend, Apache NiFi).
  • Collaborate with business teams to identify data needs, design analytical models, and propose visualizations that support decision-making.
  • Ensure data governance and compliance, including data security and privacy (GDPR).
  • Stay updated on technological trends to integrate innovative solutions and improve data management processes.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in data architecture and management, including big data, data warehousing, and analytics projects.
  • Proficiency in data management tools (SQL, ETL) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with cloud platforms for data (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
  • Plus: experience in machine learning and data science (Python, R, scikit-learn).
  • Excellent project management and team management skills, with an acute sense of organization.
  • Understanding of data governance and data privacy principles.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data management or data lead roles, with demonstrated experience in team management.
  • Preferred certifications in data or cloud platforms.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills to convey data insights.
