Data Integration Specialist (Multiple Openings, Temporary)

Key Responsibilities

• Data quality, coverage, and impact (35%): Ensure relevant data available for research; assess sources; develop dashboards/reports; synthesize metadata; leverage AI for discovery.
• Development and application of innovative tools (25%): Drive novel data discovery; automate processes; use AI and heuristics for data annotation and governance.
• Data landscape and interpretation (20%): Understand data landscape; evaluate with teams; identify non-traditional sources; run quality diagnostics.
• Data seeking strategies (15%): Efficiently seek data sources; track access stages; develop protocols; interact with external providers.
• Sharing best practices and feedback (5%): Communicate data availability; ensure security measures; provide feedback on systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree in social sciences, engineering, computer science, or related field; 4 years experience in data quality assessments or coding for data workflows (Python or R).
• Additional: Experience with structured/unstructured data (cleaning, transformation, annotation); Coding skills (Python or R); Business intelligence for dashboards/reports; Analytical/problem-solving/communication skills; Curiosity and adaptability.

Compensation

• Pay Range: $92,676–$101,232 annually
