Data Integration Specialist

Viyahe is expanding its remote team with a Data Integration Specialist working across technology-enabled travel booking, live-agent support, business travel, traveler service, software, data, and digital operations.

About the role

The Data Integration Specialist will build, monitor, and troubleshoot data flows between systems and applications. The opening is full time, fully remote, and open to candidates throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

• Configure or support data imports, exports, file transfers, APIs, connectors, or scheduled integration jobs.
• Map source and target fields and document transformations, validation rules, and integration dependencies.
• Monitor integration runs and investigate failed jobs, missing records, duplicates, schema changes, or data mismatches across travel technology and traveler support.
• Test integration changes using controlled data and document expected and actual results.
• Coordinate fixes with application, data, or vendor teams and maintain clear incident and change records.
• Maintain integration documentation, runbooks, field mappings, and support notes.

Requirements

• Experience with data integration, APIs, ETL/ELT, file transfers, databases, or related system-to-system workflows.
• Comfort using SQL, logs, integration tools, spreadsheets, and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to trace data across multiple systems.
• Careful attention to field mappings, data types, validation rules, and error handling.
• Clear written communication for documenting incidents, changes, and technical handoffs.
• A pre-employment background check is required.

Pay

$95,500 - $104,000 per year
