Data Integration & Interoperability Engineer

Travel Required: None. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "public trust"; candidates with an active public trust or suitability are preferred.

What You Will Do

• Designs and develops APIs and integration solutions to enable reliable data exchange across systems.
• Implements middleware and data transformation solutions to support interoperability.
• Applies data standards and validation processes to ensure consistency and quality.
• Monitors and troubleshoots integration workflows and resolves cross-system issues.
• Documents integration architectures and supports knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field.
• Six years of integration or API development experience.
• Proficiency in API design, data transformation, and integration tools.
• Knowledge of data modeling and interoperability concepts.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Experience integrating complex data systems or supporting standardized data exchange frameworks.
• Prior NIH experience.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00–$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on skill sets, experience, training, security clearances, licensure, certifications, and business needs.
