Data & Integration Internship

Responsibilities

• Create and modify data integration processes using technologies such as C# and SQL Server Integration Services under the direction of a lead software developer.
• Create and maintain technical design documentation.
• Meet with technical and business staff to understand business needs and impacts to technical systems.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work out of IAT’s Milwaukee, Wisconsin office without housing or relocation assistance.
• Must be able to complete the full 10‑week internship (May 24, 2027 – July 30, 2027).
• Rising undergraduate Junior or Senior.
• Major in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated course work or experience in one or more of the following: object‑oriented programming, data integration, and/or relational database systems.
• Experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including C# and SSIS/SQL Server, is preferred but not required.
• Proactive problem solver and independent worker who can operate with limited direction.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and business domains; curious personality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor detail to the audience.
• Comfortable working both virtually and in‑person with peers.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
