This is a fully remote, contract role assisting with the delivery of a portfolio of active and planned automation initiatives for a global manufacturing client.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy solutions to improve data quality across the close, consolidation, and financial reporting cycles
- Utilize Microsoft Power Platform CoE Starter Kit, ALM (solutions, managed/unmanaged), and environment strategy
- Create tables using Dataverse and predictive models using AI Builder
- Enhance report dashboards using Power BI
- Schedule desktop flows using Power Automate
- Assist with translating finance business process challenges into technical solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
- Certified Scrum Master certification strongly preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience delivering automations in a regulated environment
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platforms
- 3+ years of prior experience with SQL, Python, and Azure services
- Working knowledge of SOX / ITGC controls and building automations that support audit evidence
- Strong documentation skills including solution design documents, user guides, and runbooks
- Excellent communication skills to interface with senior finance leaders and non-technical process owners
- Must reside in the continental U.S.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future (verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire; visa sponsorship is not available for this position)

Pay
Salary ranges vary by location as follows:
- Colorado: $100,000 – $150,000
- California: $110,000 – $160,000
- New York: $110,000 – $160,000
- Maryland: $105,000 – $155,000
- Massachusetts: $105,000 – $155,000
- Illinois: $100,000 – $150,000
- New Jersey: $105,000 – $155,000
- Vermont: $100,000 – $150,000
- Washington: $110,000 – $160,000
Salary will be based on the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Talent Shift reserves the right to adjust the salary range based on business needs.
