Duties/Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage construction projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, meet client needs, and stay within budgets.
  • Create timelines and determine costs and resources needed.
  • Generate detailed plans and schedules for each project stage.
  • Report project progress to senior managers and clients.
  • Manage risks and prevent delays.
  • Give direction to supervisors, crews, delegating and assigning tasks as required.
  • Ensure all work complies with customer construction standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and complete project files and distribute appropriate closeout documents in a timely manner.
  • Perform performance management functions, handle disciplinary actions, conduct performance reviews, and develop team members.
  • Aid in customer invoicing and ensure accurate and timely submission of invoices.
  • Be the primary point of contact for your team and serve as a resource.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with utilities, clients, and permitting agencies as needed.
  • Adhere to company safety standards and comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of direct experience working for a general contractor or a data infrastructure company as a Project Manager or Superintendent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a comparable field preferred.
  • Experience with low voltage, data infrastructure, and structured cabling required.
  • Experience with bidding, project management, and field supervision aspects of construction.
  • Willingness to travel across the continental United States to oversee multiple projects.
  • Strong understanding of all trades in ground-up and renovation projects.
  • Experience managing project budgets, financial projections, and invoicing.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating material and equipment delivery.
  • Experience with subcontractor buyout, writing scopes, scope reviews, and project coordination.
  • Experience with bidding public projects.
  • Experience in running successful foreman meetings and managing an efficient site workforce.
  • Ability to collaborate with the project owner, design, and project team.
  • Preferred certifications: OSHA 30, ANSI, TIA, EIA, and BICSI cabling, and NEC standards.
