Data Governance Specialist

About the role

The team is looking for a senior resource who has strong understanding and experience of RIM - Records Information Management - Mandatory and ROPA - Records of Processing Activity - Mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Data Retention Implementation Specialist will be responsible for executing data retention implementation and remediation activities.
• This includes analyzing retention assessments and details provided by applications to ensure adherence to corporate policies and standards.
• The specialist will identify gaps or non-compliance issues related to data retention, and work with the application teams to design remediation plans to address these deficiencies.
• Additionally, the resource will be expected to make recommendations to improve data retention practices and minimize risks associated with the existing data retention process at TFS.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of data retention regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience with data governance frameworks and data lifecycle management
• Proficiency in configuring and managing data retention implementations
• Analytical skills to identify retention gaps and develop effective remediation plans
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
