Data Governance lead

Job Description Role Summary Own and drive end to end data governance (design → operate → sign-off) for the TIBCO modernization program ensuring governance-by-design across Kafka, Databricks, and Collibra, aligned to NS enterprise standards. Key Responsibilities Align and Firm up on enterprise data governance framework, policies, and operating modelLead metadata, lineage, classification, and cataloging (Collibra) in line with NS policiesGovern Kafka topics, schemas, retention, and ownership standards Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and zero data-loss during migrationDrive compliance (PII, IAM, audit, security controls) and audit readiness Anchor data governance council, stewardship, and issue resolutionIntegrate governance into DataOps pipelines and platform (not applications) Lead parallel run validation, business sign-offs, and go-live approvals Key Deliverables Data Governance Framework & Operating ModelCollibra catalog (lineage, glossary, ownership)Kafka schema & governance standardsData Quality rules, dashboards & exception workflows Audit-ready artifacts (classification, lineage, policies) Data validation & business sign-off reports (parallel run → cutover) Salary Range-$100,000-$140,000 a year TCS Employee Benefits Summary Discretionary Annual Incentive.
