About the role
The Data Governance Analyst III is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures. This includes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing data quality initiatives, and facilitating collaboration between various departments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures aligned with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
- Oversee data quality initiatives, including data cleansing, validation, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on data governance practices and objectives.
- Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on data governance principles and best practices.
- Monitor compliance with data governance policies and recommend improvements as needed.
- Assist in the development and execution of data governance projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a similar role.
- Experience with data quality tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
