About the CompanyOur client is a growing grocery retail organization seeking a detail-oriented Senior Data Entry Administrator to support business operations across multiple store locations. The company values accuracy, collaboration, and operational excellence while maintaining high standards of data integrity across its retail systems.About the TeamThe Data Administration team partners closely with Merchandising, Purchasing, Operations, Accounting, Technology, and Store teams to maintain accurate product, pricing, and promotional data. The team plays a critical role in supporting efficient retail operations and informed business decision-making.About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Data Entry Administrator to manage and maintain high-volume business data across multiple grocery store locations. In this role, you will oversee product setup, pricing updates, promotional data, and records management while ensuring the accuracy and consistency of information across POS and back-office systems. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system improvements and data quality initiatives.ResponsibilitiesPerform high-volume data entry and maintain item master records, UPCs, PLUs, product categories, departments, and product attributes.Create, update, and validate new product records across multiple store locations.Process pricing updates, promotional pricing, markdowns, and vendor-supported promotions.Maintain accurate product, pricing, and promotional data within POS and back-office systems.Conduct regular audits, validations, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.Maintain organized documentation and records for data management activities.Review, reconcile, and resolve data discrepancies across multiple systems.Support data governance initiatives and recommend best practices for maintaining data quality.Serve as the primary contact for stores regarding product, pricing, and data-related inquiries.Collaborate with Merchandising, Purchasing, Operations, Vendors, and Technology teams to resolve data issues.Support system upgrades, data migrations, seasonal updates, product transitions, and process improvement initiatives.QualificationsThree or more years of experience in data entry, data administration, records management, retail administration, or a related role.Experience managing large datasets with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, sorting, filtering, and reporting.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data reconciliation skills.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Strong communication and customer service skills.Experience with POS, ERP, or retail back-office systems preferred.Knowledge of item setup, pricing administration, inventory, or merchandising processes preferred.Experience supporting multi-location retail operations is a plus.Familiarity with BR Data, Encore, Truno, or similar retail platforms is preferred.Experience supporting data audits, reporting, and process improvement initiatives is an advantage.Equal Opportunity StatementOur client is committed to creating an inclusive workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
