Schedule

8‑hour shifts with rotating start times (as early as 7 am or as late as 12:30 pm). Must be available to work the closing Friday shift each month and one weekend (Saturday & Sunday) per month. Reliable attendance is critical.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and enter prescriptions into computer systems
• Maintain prescription information to ensure accurate records
• Troubleshoot rejected claims or billing issues
• Place outbound phone calls and faxes to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare partners
• Learn and implement new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis
• Maintain flexibility in new or changing work roles and adapt to modified job responsibilities as required
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality to fulfill essential job functions
• Physical demands include long periods of sitting; frequent talking and hearing, use of hands/fingers, handling objects, reaching; occasional lifting/moving up to 40 lbs; required vision abilities: close, distance, peripheral, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current pharmacy technician registration in Minnesota OR willingness to complete the employer’s Pharmacy Technician training program within 6 months of hire

Pay

$19.00 – $26.00 per hour
