Responsibilities
- Enter information from approved forms, documents, spreadsheets, or digital submissions.
- Review records for missing fields, duplicate entries, and formatting inconsistencies.
- Correct routine errors using available source material and documented procedures.
- Maintain organized electronic files and update work status in the assigned tracker.
- Communicate unresolved questions or source-document issues to the appropriate team member.
- Follow confidentiality, data-handling, and quality-control requirements.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and reliable proofreading habits.
- Comfort with spreadsheets, shared files, email, and browser-based systems.
- Ability to follow written instructions and maintain consistent formatting.
- Clear communication and dependable completion of assigned work.
- Ability to work independently while meeting accuracy expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a data-entry clerk, records clerk, office assistant, or similar role.
- Basic spreadsheet skills, including sorting, filtering, and simple data cleanup.
- Experience working with digital documents and shared task queues.
