Position
The position is responsible for entering data and generating reports for the database program. Duties include collecting and centralizing specified data information, preparing correspondence, maintaining inventory, and performing general clerical duties.
About the Role
Inspire Development Centers provides Early Childhood Education and social services to over 4000 children across 25 Child Development Centers in Washington State. Services are provided under various federal and state-funded programs with differing regulations.
Responsibilities
- Collect, enter/input, and dispose of client and center information in the Database.
- Generate data information reports to appropriate personnel, as requested.
- Maintain a functional filing system for project-related activities, referrals, contracts, reports, family records, and in-kind documentation.
- Aid in answering telephones and routing calls, taking messages as necessary.
- Assist center personnel in all areas of clerical support as necessary.
- Assist in performing general office tasks and assist in classrooms as needed, such as USDA, timesheets, and taking meeting minutes.
- Show interest in professional growth by attending staff meetings, workshops, seminars, and additional training.
- Maintain confidentiality of program and client-related information at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED certificate.
- English/Spanish bi-lingual fluency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Understanding of the interrelationships between services and systems.
- Ability to learn new tasks quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Ability to work with culturally diverse populations.
- Proficiency with personal computers, including Microsoft Office.
- Accurate data entry and recordkeeping skills.
Skills
- Knowledge of federal and state-funded programs.
