About the Opportunity
The Data Entry Clerk / Data Entry Specialist role is responsible for accurate input and maintenance of data across multiple digital platforms. This position supports the organization's data management operations, ensuring high standards of data integrity and contributing to overall team effectiveness from a remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Enter and update large volumes of information accurately into databases and systems
- Verify data accuracy and completeness; identify and correct errors or inconsistencies
- Review source documents for deficiencies and resolve discrepancies following standard procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all company and client data
- Generate reports, store completed work appropriately, and perform backup operations
- Adhere to data integrity and security policies
- Collaborate with team members to maintain data consistency and quality
Requirements
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar role
- High typing speed and accuracy with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel
- Familiarity with administrative tasks and data management software
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to work independently and meet deadlines remotely
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is advantageous
Pay Range and Compensation Package
Salary ranges from $30 to $45 USD per hour
