Data Entry Associate, Medicaid
About The Role
We are currently seeking a Medicaid Claims Data Entry Associate to join our remote team based in the United States. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain insight into Medicaid provider support and the medical eligibility and claims process.
Responsibilities
- Accurately input claim data into claims processing systems following established procedures
- Review documents for completeness and correctness prior to data entry
- Identify and flag incomplete or inaccurate information for follow-up
- Maintain high productivity levels while adhering to quality standards
- Follow guidelines for claim submissions to ensure compliance
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any issues or discrepancies
- Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
- Ensure compliance with data security and integrity policies
- Perform additional clerical and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
- Basic computer skills with familiarity in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to type at least 30 words per minute; preferred 40 WPM
- Strong attention to detail, grammar, and spelling accuracy
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with colleagues, clients, and providers
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening
- Reliable internet connection and suitable home office setup for remote work
