About The Role

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Medicaid Claims Data Entry Associate to join our remote team in the United States. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting Medicaid providers in Montana by accurately entering claims data into our systems. Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to type at least 30 words per minute; preferred 40 WPM
  • Strong attention to detail, grammar, and spelling accuracy
  • Effective communication skills to interact professionally with team members, clients, and providers
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
  • Ability to follow established procedures and guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Accurately input claim data into claims processing systems, ensuring data quality and completeness
  • Review documents for accuracy and completeness prior to data entry
  • Identify and flag incomplete, inconsistent, or incorrect information for follow-up
  • Maintain high productivity levels while adhering to quality standards
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines for claim submission and processing
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any issues or discrepancies
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Ensure compliance with data security and integrity policies
  • Perform additional clerical or administrative tasks as needed to support team operations
