About The Role

We are currently seeking a Medicaid Claims Data Entry Associate to join our claims team. This is a remote position available to candidates residing in the United States, offering an excellent opportunity to support Medicaid providers in Montana and gain valuable experience in Medicaid support processes. The role involves entering claim information into our systems with a focus on accuracy, data integrity, and timely processing.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to type at least 30 words per minute; 40 WPM preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and spelling skills
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment screening
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion

Responsibilities

  • Accurately input claim data into claims processing systems to ensure data integrity
  • Review documents for completeness and correctness prior to data entry
  • Identify and flag incomplete or incorrect claim information for follow-up
  • Maintain high productivity levels while adhering to quality standards
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines for claim submissions
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding issues or discrepancies
  • Handle confidential information responsibly, ensuring compliance with data security policies
  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks as needed to support team operations
