Data Entry Associate

About the Role

Works under direct supervision, following standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. May assist in orienting and training employees. Responsible for all aspects related to entering medication orders.

Responsibilities

• Accurate data entry of incoming prescriptions
• Accurate selection of billing and shipping methods for incoming patient orders
• Customer service coverage for incoming calls and directing calls to appropriate staff
• Resolution of customer service issues to ensure member satisfaction
• Assist members with payment-related issues on accounts/orders
• Maintain reasonable production as determined by supervisor
• Assist in orienting and training new employees
• Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts
• Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
• High School Diploma or GED (minimum)
• Pharmacy technician or related certification (preferred)
• Experience in a customer service-related field
• Successful completion of pre-employment and/or random drug screening test

Pay

$15.50 - $16.36 an hour. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
