Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various project teams on multiple ongoing activities, including tasks that may extend beyond standard service level agreements.
  • Work closely with business teams to understand requirements and support data needs.
  • Perform data analysis, manage ad-hoc data requests, and ensure high-quality data availability to drive data-driven decision making.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines across diverse environments (Snowflake, Oracle Exadata, SSIS, etc.).
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver data solutions for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure data products.
  • Conduct data and system analysis to identify and resolve defects, ensuring smooth data flow.
  • Write and fine-tune advanced SQL scripts, stored procedures, and queries for large scale datasets.
  • Develop Python-based data processing to streamline data workflows.
  • Perform data quality assessments, cleansing, and transformation to ensure data integrity.
  • Conduct data and system analysis to identify and resolve defects, ensuring smooth data flow.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Snowflake and advanced SQL.
  • Experience with Oracle and Python ETL processes.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Cloud technology experience (AWS preferred).
  • Ability to design, build, and deploy data solutions.
  • Passion for working with data and solving complex problems.
  • Familiarity with SSIS and other data environments.
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and quality management principles.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.

Qualifications

  • Insurance or financial services domain knowledge is highly desirable.

Schedule

AIG’s Information Technology team works primarily in the office, fostering a culture of in-person collaboration. However, we also offer remote work options where possible.

Pay

For positions based in Jersey City, NJ, the base salary range is $120,000-$96,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
