Data Engineering Manager | Home Client Services

For our client, we are seeking a Data Engineering Manager to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will lead a small, high-impact data engineering team focused on building and operating modern cloud-based data solutions. The manager will partner closely with stakeholders to align the data platform roadmap with business priorities and help ensure the team delivers reliable, well-governed, and scalable data capabilities. The position also plays an important role in advancing AI-enabled tooling and improving how data is ingested, monitored, and trusted across the organization. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $130,000 – $200,000 annually Responsibilities Lead a team of 2-4 data engineers in designing data pipelines using modern cloud technologies Provide servant leadership to support team development and career growth Own end-to-end data platform solution delivery from ingestion to monitoring Cultivate relationships with stakeholders to align technical roadmaps with business strategy Establish data governance standards for quality, documentation, and observability Drive operational excellence in data platform performance and reliability Champion AI integration into the data stack and promote agentic tooling Qualifications 3+ years in a data engineering management role 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience 4+ years of Databricks experience, including Unity Catalog and Delta Lake Proficiency in Python and PySpark within distributed computing contexts Strong expertise in data governance and quality standards Benefits Health insurance coverage (medical, dental, and vision) Life insurance Short- and long-term disability insurance Flexible spending accounts Flexible paid time off, 20 days annually, increasing to 25 days after five years Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
