About the role
This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers, fostering career development and collaboration
- Guide the team in delivering scalable data solutions that align with customer needs and business priorities
- Enhance AI-enabled software development practices to improve delivery efficiency
- Stay engaged with the codebase, offering architectural guidance to tackle technical challenges
- Establish technical standards for scalable, reliable data solutions that perform well
- Facilitate technical design discussions, ensuring clear communication of decisions and recommendations
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, open communication, and continuous improvement within the engineering team
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years in technical management with a focus on mentorship and team leadership
- Strong background in Data Engineering with hands-on SQL experience
- Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery
- Familiarity with technologies such as Kafka, Airflow, Terraform, Python, and Datadog
- Expertise in agentic coding workflows, particularly in AI development loops
- Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, with a strong emphasis on mentorship
- Experience with Customer 360 or Customer Data Platforms is advantageous
