Data Engineering Intern

Location: Saint Petersburg, FL
Timeframe: Length of a semester; however, some may be extended
Hours: 20-40 hours per week, flexible schedule to accommodate class schedule

Responsibilities

• Assist with data reporting requests and develop reports that communicate key metrics and insights
• Conduct basic data quality efforts, including validation, reconciliation, and anomaly identification
• Extract, manipulate, and analyze data using appropriate tools and platforms
• Research and learn data platform capabilities and business process workflows
• Identify opportunities to improve data organization and integrity

Requirements

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, most importantly Excel
• Basic understanding of data, databases, or reporting concepts
• Experience or familiarity with Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, Postgres, Fabric, and Snowflake
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to organize and validate information
• Data-mapping experience
