Data Engineer - Snowflake

About the role

This position requires a skilled Snowflake Data Engineer to develop and manage modern data platforms, including Data Lakes and Data Warehouses, utilizing cloud technologies like Snowflake and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize Snowflake environments, including data pipelines with Snowpark, Snowpipe, and OpenFlow
• Develop automated ETL/ELT pipelines for diverse data sources, ensuring high-quality data ingestion and transformation
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to support AI/ML initiatives, including feature engineering and dataset preparation on AWS platforms
• Maintain data governance, quality, security, and compliance with industry standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience, with at least 3 years hands-on in Snowflake
• Proficiency in SQL, Python/Java, and cloud technologies including Snowflake and AWS AI/ML services
• Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
