Data Engineer (Quadient/ExStream)

Job Title: Data Engineer (Quadient/ExStream),Location: Durham, NCLong term contract role with Extension Our client's organization is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build, expand, and enhance WI communication's ecosystem whilst being customer focused. The team is responsible for sending out millions of service, marketing, and regulatory communications to outside WI participants. Work involves document composition using Quadient Inspire and OpenText Exstream. This person will play a key role in building, testing and release of product features in Agile delivery fashion.Performs design and development of applications on sophisticated projects using both packaged software applications (Quadient Inspire) and custom-built applicationsUse of Sophisticated data types (XML, JSON, multi-line variable data record formats)Program, test and tackle sophisticated workflowsSet up primary workflows to support Document Template design using Inspire InteractiveDefine document blocks. Compose Document Templates using Inspire InteractiveDefine Scalar workflows for automatic processing of input data filesGenerate emails in HTML or plain textProactively find opportunities to improve processAssist in resolving internal/external inquiries related to input/output requirements, intended usage, strategic planning, and alignment of these elements to internal checks, controls, and quality assuranceParticipate in team efforts to standardize new and existing processAssist with data file analysisContribute to the upkeep and consistency of internal documentation related to issues, resolutions, usage topics, and trainingThe Expertise and the Skills You BringBachelor's degree in computer science / similar technical subject area and/or equivalent experienceProven experience in analyzing, crafting, and developing platformsExperience in the Quadient Inspire platforms Versions 11/12/14+Experience in OpenText Exstream platforms a plusExperience in using Inspire Scaler, and Interactive modulesExperience in composing Batch, On Demand CommunicationsExperience in Inspire ScriptingQuadient Inspire Designer: min 6 years (Recent experience required)Quadient ICM: 6 years (Recent experience required)Experience in print industry a plusPositive and consultative demeanor with strong work ethic and the ability to interact with technical and non-technical resources using excellent written and verbal communications Dexian stands at the forefront of Talent + Technology solutions with a presence spanning more than 70 locations worldwide and a team exceeding 10,000 professionals.
