Data Engineer - Power Systems

Responsibilities

• Design data transformation workflows for integration of applications
• Develop data models and map schemas to accurately represent and transport data across different platforms
• Utilize standard engineering and mathematical concepts and principles in the design, coding, and testing of software components
• Develop POC, automate workflows and perform API development & testing
• Perform software verification and validation to meet ETAP QA standards

Requirements

• Experience with development and testing of ETL pipelines in desktop, web and cloud environments
• Proficiency in C#, Python, SQL, or similar languages
• Experience using AI tools and programming to automate integration workflows
• Strong written and verbal communications skills, including ability to write clear and detailed technical reports
• Ability to adjust to multiple tasks/projects
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency/work authorization

Qualifications

• Familiarity with power system analysis software or CAD software
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or related field

Pay

Salary range: $65,000.00 – $108,000.00 USD per year. Final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational attainment and/or training.
