Data Engineer Lead

About the role

This role involves leading a team of data engineers, designing and building data pipelines and models, and managing client interactions and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines and models using Snowflake and dbt
• Lead a team, provide technical guidance, and conduct code reviews
• Manage onshore-offshore collaboration and delivery timelines
• Handle client interactions, requirements gathering, and solution discussions
• Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and best practices
• Manage job scheduling and automation using Control-M
• Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Lead solution discussions, demos, and architecture reviews
• Manage client expectations, escalations, and delivery milestones

Requirements

• Technical/Functional Skills: Snowflake, DBT
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in end-to-end data engineering delivery
• Ability to balance hands-on work with team leadership
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DataOps practices

Pay

The salary range for this role is $100,000-$120,000 a year
