Data Engineer – Full-Stack GCP

Location: Remote (US) About The Company Our client is one of the largest healthcare organizations in the U.S., serving millions of members across pharmacy, insurance, and care delivery. Its Network Analytics team uses data science to shape how the company builds and contracts its provider networks. Job Summary We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer with full-stack GCP skills to build the data foundation for a new rate benchmarking simulator. You'll design and build the pipelines that feed the benchmarking models and connect the simulator to the client's existing provider contracting tools. You'll also support front-end and back-end development as needed. Key Responsibilities Assess data sources and design the benchmark data pipeline architecture in GCPBuild and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines in BigQuery using Python and SQLConnect the simulator to existing contracting tools and applicationsSupport front-end and back-end development for the simulator MVPPartner with Data Scientists to deliver clean, model-ready datasetsMonitor data quality, performance and reliabilityDocument pipelines and infrastructure for knowledge transfer Requirements 6–10 years of data engineering experienceStrong hands-on GCP experience (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow/Composer, Cloud Functions or similar)Advanced SQL and PythonExperience building production data pipelines and integrating with applications or APIsComfortable working across the stack on a small, fast-moving team Preferred Qualifications Healthcare claims or provider data experienceFront-end or web framework experience (React, Flask/FastAPI, Looker or similar)CI/CD, Terraform or infrastructure-as-code experienceGCP Professional Data Engineer certification Benefits Fully remoteHigh-visibility analytics initiative at one of the largest healthcare organizations in the U.S.Own the data architecture for a new product
