Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Build and optimize data solutions using Dataproc, BigQuery, SQL, and dbt.
- Develop and maintain scalable data models that support analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives.
- Ingest, transform, validate, and publish data from multiple enterprise source systems.
- Partner with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Data Architects, and Solution Architects to deliver business-driven data solutions.
- Develop reusable data transformation components following engineering standards and best practices.
- Optimize data processing performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Perform unit testing, data validation, troubleshooting, and production support to ensure high-quality data solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and code reviews.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including data flows, solution designs, and implementation details.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of Data Engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience building cloud-native data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong Experience With Dataproc, BigQuery, SQL, and dbt (Data Build Tool).
- Experience designing and building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of dimensional data modeling and analytical data warehouse concepts.
- Experience working with Git-based version control and CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Apache Airflow.
- Experience With Apache Kafka Or Other Event Streaming Platforms.
- Experience with PySpark.
- Python programming experience for data engineering and automation.
- Knowledge of data quality, metadata management, and data governance principles.

Schedule
40 hours per week, 18-month contract (possible extension), a remote role.
