Data Engineer

About the role
You'll tackle problems involving distributed systems, large-scale data processing, and platform scalability while partnering with cross-functional engineering teams to build reliable, performant data infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who is highly autonomous, thrives in fast-paced environments, and takes ownership from design through production.
Responsibilities
- Developing and deploying scalable and elegant code
- Work with distributed systems and data pipelines
- Lead and drive projects to completion
- Innovating on creative solutions to difficult problems
- Work with related data infrastructure technologies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field
- Strong programming skills in Python or any other OOP languages
- Advanced SQL skills and experience designing efficient data models
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- Experience managing infrastructure using code such as Terraform (IAAS)
Bonus Points
- Hands on experience working with Apache Spark, Databricks, Flink, Beam, or similar large-scale data processing frameworks
- Experience managing large-scale critical production systems with minimum SLAs of 4 9's
Work Location

Pay
The standard base pay range for this role is $180,000 - $220,000 annually. This range does not include bonuses, equity, or other incentives.
