Data Engineer
Location: Minneapolis, MN; Philadelphia, PA; or St. Louis, MO (Hybrid 3-4 days onsite)

As a Consultant on our Cloud Solutions team, you'll build and optimize data pipelines and platforms across Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Snowflake — helping clients modernize how they store, move, and use data as part of our Data-as-a-Service offering. You'll own major components of client deliverables, partner directly with architects and analysts to translate requirements into reliable, production-grade pipelines, and bring technical recommendations into client-facing discussions. Healthcare and PBM experience is a strong plus as you help clients across industries unlock more value from their cloud data investments.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and platforms across Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and other cloud environments
- Own major components of ingestion, transformation, and data modeling layers, ensuring they are reliable, tested, and performant
- Build data quality, governance, and observability practices into the pipelines you deliver
- Partner with architects and analysts to translate client requirements into working, production-grade solutions
- Optimize pipelines and platforms for cost and performance across compute and storage
- Participate in client-facing discussions, contributing technical recommendations under the direction of project leads
- Mentor Associates and Senior Associates on the team as needed
- Document delivered solutions so clients can operate them independently after handoff
Qualifications
- 4-7 years in data engineering with production experience on modern data platforms
- Hands-on experience with one or more of Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Snowflake
- Strong SQL and Python, with solid grounding in data modeling and pipeline orchestration
- Experience delivering on AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, and testing practices applied to data engineering
- Comfort working directly with clients in a consulting or delivery setting
- Healthcare or PBM domain experience is a plus
Pay
The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $145,000 or the hourly equivalent. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications.
