About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with 5–7 years of hands-on expertise to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who can take ownership of complex technical challenges, drive solutions end-to-end, and contribute to building scalable, high-performance applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using JDK 11+
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services
- Develop cloud-ready applications and integrations using AWS services
- Write efficient, high-quality SQL queries and work with relational databases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features from concept to deployment
- Use Git and version control best practices to manage codebases
- Write and maintain bash scripts for automation and operational tasks
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across development and production environments
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Java (JDK 11 and above)
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, or similar)
- Expertise in API development and microservices
- Strong SQL skills with experience in performance tuning
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
- Experience with bash scripting for automation
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure-as-code
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Pay
Base Pay Range: $140,000.00–$160,000.00
