Data Engineer

About the role

You will develop algorithms and transform raw sensor measurements into actionable insights to support next-generation sensing and measurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize algorithms for time-domain and frequency-domain analysis.
• Design filtering, denoising, feature extraction, and detection pipelines.
• Process large datasets from laboratory and field measurements to perform statistical analysis.
• Build calibration and validation workflows for sensors and instrumentation.
• Implement algorithms in Python, MATLAB, or C++ and integrate them into deployed systems.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in signal processing, data analysis, or sensing systems.
• Strong proficiency in Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Fourier transforms, and spectral analysis.
• Advanced programming skills in Python (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas), MATLAB, and C/C++.
• Experience analyzing experimental or sensor datasets and implementing version control via Git.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Data Science, or a related mathematical field.
