Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support cloud-based data solutions within an Azure environment.
• Develop and implement data pipelines using Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Contribute to large-scale data architecture efforts for enterprise-level use cases.
• Support data migration activities, helping ensure accuracy, consistency, and minimal disruption.
• Work with high-volume data systems and modern data platforms to enable efficient processing and storage.
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate data across platforms and support ongoing modernization efforts.
• Participate in solution design discussions and help identify opportunities for innovation in data platforms.

Skills

• Strong experience designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions, especially in Azure.
• Hands-on knowledge of Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Experience building scalable data architectures for enterprise environments.
• Background supporting data migration projects with attention to data quality and reliability.
• Understanding of Kafka and high-volume data systems.
• Experience with data lakes and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Azure data and analytics services.
• Exposure to AI-enabled capabilities within data platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on payment-related or other large enterprise migration programs.
• Ability to contribute to end-to-end data processing, integration, and storage workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to technical delivery.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment and participating in onsite interviews or equipment pickup if needed.
• A proactive mindset and interest in modern data engineering practices.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $32 - $65 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
