Data Engineer

About the role

Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, design and architect high-performance data solutions, manage distributed data engineering teams, oversee ETL processes and data science initiatives, ensure data quality and integrity across systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet data needs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT/Engineering
• 4-year technical degree
• 8+ years working directly for large tech companies (e.g., Amazon, Facebook, Meta)
• 5+ years managing large distributed organizations in data engineering, ETL, and data science
• 4+ years designing and architecting scalable, high-performance data solutions
• 3+ years building scalable data pipelines in Spark using Airflow or similar tools
• 3+ years hands-on programming with Python/Scala and strong SQL skills
