Data Engineer

About the role

Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines and platforms to organize and integrate disparate data sources. Implement data engineering activities on mission-critical projects across various domains, including national intelligence and scientific research. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including analysts, developers, and data consumers, in a fast-paced, agile setting. Support the assessment, design, development, and maintenance of scalable data platforms for clients. Engage in analytical exploration and data examination to derive pivotal insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of experience with ETL operations, including on-premises or Cloud infrastructure
• Proficiency in software development using programming languages like Python
• Experience with source control and collaboration tools such as Git or Atlassian tools
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational database technologies (e.g., SQL, GraphQL)
• Familiarity with automation and scripting on Linux or Windows operating systems
