Data Engineer at Run For Trash Location: Remote - United States Job Type: Full Time Salary: $125,000-$135,000 per year About The Role The Data Engineer will support dependable data infrastructure by developing and maintaining pipelines, transformations, data models, quality checks, and technical documentation. Key Responsibilities Develop reliable ingestion and transformation workflows for analytical or operational datasets.Write maintainable SQL and Python code for data preparation, modeling, and pipeline automation.Review pipeline health and trace failed or incomplete runs to their underlying technical cause.Keep schemas, dependencies, transformation rules, and data-model documentation current.Add validation and monitoring that surfaces data-quality problems early in the workflow.Support controlled changes to data infrastructure with documented testing and rollback considerations. Qualifications Practical familiarity with Data Engineering, SQL, and Python.Consistent accuracy when working with ETL and Data Pipelines.Clear written communication and disciplined documentation habits.Ability to manage assigned work, deadlines, and follow-up without making unsupported assumptions.Comfort coordinating remotely through shared systems and written communication.
