About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity within our York Delivery Centre. The right candidate will join a team of analysts and will have the chance to work across multiple areas including:
- Client Engagements – working on digital, data & technology programs and projects.
- Sales – assisting in identifying potential opportunities and creating bid responses.
- Service Line Development – aiding in the creation of materials to sell and deliver our consulting services.
- Internal Initiatives – contributing to the growth of Finyx, improving internal processes, and supporting CSR and I,D&E agendas.
Responsibilities
- Analyse, understand, and communicate business problems or opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support the design and build of automated data systems and pipelines.
- Identify areas for improvement, research potential options, analyze the impact of change, and define success measures.
- Establish structured data stores and consolidate information from various sources of an organization.
- Transform documented business workflows into automated processes using tools within the business.
- Apply tools and techniques for data analysis and data visualization to present clear findings and recommendations.
- Summarize and present data / conclusions in the most appropriate format for users, translating technical concepts into non-technical language.
- Take an iterative approach to completing task-based outputs for a project.
- Prepare for, attend, and contribute to client meetings and workshops.
- Helping to identify and qualify new client opportunities for Finyx and supporting the bid process; coordinating and tracking the completion of our bid response.
- Aiding in the development of Data and AI methodologies.
- Implement and improve internal data platform functionality.
- Create materials to upskill employees and explain our Services.
- Provide support (and potentially own) ongoing internal Finyx projects; this may include analyzing and improving internal processes, supporting the design and delivery of company events such as internal training courses.
Requirements
- A Level 3 qualification in a relevant area in any grade.
- Acceptable Qualifications Include:
- Any Of Two A levels in one or more similar subject.
- Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject.
- International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in a similar subject.
- BTEC Extended Diploma in a similar subject.
- Experience with programming languages (such as Python).
- Equivalent work experience: 2-3 years in a similar subject-related role.
Qualifications
- Entry Requirements: A Level 3 qualification in a relevant area in any grade.
- Acceptable Qualifications: Any Of Two A levels in one or more similar subject, Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject, International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in a similar subject, BTEC Extended Diploma in a similar subject, or equivalent work experience.
Working Hours
9am – 5pm, Monday to Thursday (office based); Friday will be working from home.
