Responsibilities
- Develop ETL solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Develop reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Create T-SQL scripts for database objects and functionality.
- Perform impact analysis on change requests.
- Aid in documenting technical specifications from business requirement documents.
- Participate in all phases of database development and maintenance lifecycle.
- Support defect analysis and resolution.
- Aid the team in the design of efficient ETL processes to load and manage data.
- Ensure the quality of the source data meets the information requirements through data quality assessment.
- Develop business rules, data mappings, and transformation rules.
- Maintain a formal description of data and data structures.
- Assist the Lead Database Architect with the implementation of data architecture principles.
- Support multiple SQL Server data repositories, including documenting database architecture and analyzing datasets.
- Identify missing, incomplete, or invalid information within datasets.
- Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in CS or MIS or equivalent experience.
- 3 or more years of experience working with relational databases.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SQL Server T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS.
- Demonstrated ability to use discretion and make sound decisions.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in the education industry.
- Experience working on an Agile/Scrum team.
- Experience developing with Azure data technologies.
