Data Communications Technician
What You'll Do
- Install nurse call devices and associated system components
- Route, support, label, and manage low-voltage cabling
- Troubleshoot nurse call devices, wiring, and communication issues
- Perform system testing, inspections, and commissioning activities
- Read blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams
- Complete project and service documentation
- Train customers on proper system operation
- Support service calls and scheduled maintenance activities
- Participate in scheduled on-call support rotations
Preferred Experience
- Cable routing and cable management
- Device installation and troubleshooting
- Reading blueprints and construction drawings
- Commercial construction and renovation environments
- Customer-facing service work
- Testing and troubleshooting low-voltage systems
- Independent field work and project execution

- Preferred qualifications include:
- 3+ years of relevant field experience
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in active healthcare and construction environments
