About the Role
Manage fiber optic and copper cabling installation, testing, and quality assurance activities. Oversee IT infrastructure construction projects from planning through implementation. Support daily data center operations and infrastructure maintenance. Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery. Perform infrastructure planning, documentation, inspections, and capacity assessments. Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- BICSI Technician (TECH) or RCDD Certification
- Strong experience with fiber optic and copper cabling installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting
- Experience managing IT infrastructure construction and deployment projects
- Knowledge of structured cabling standards, infrastructure planning, and quality assurance
- Hands-on experience supporting data center operations
- Strong communication, coordination, and vendor management skills
Required Technical Skills
- Fiber optic and copper cabling installation, termination, and testing
- Structured cabling systems (TIA/EIA standards)
- Data center operations and infrastructure support
- IT infrastructure construction project management
- Infrastructure quality assurance, documentation, and planning
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent networking certification
- Data Center-related certifications
- Experience working in automotive manufacturing or large enterprise environments
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure best practices and capacity planning
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional IT and facilities teams
- Ability to manage multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously
Preferred Technical Skills
- Data center infrastructure management (DCIM) tools
- Network infrastructure documentation (Visio, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Understanding of power, cooling, and rack infrastructure
- Knowledge of enterprise networking concepts
