Data Center Technician / Cable Puller

Location: Charlotte, NC Openings: 6 Positions Available Job Type: Full-Time Pay: Competitive – Based on Experience About The Role Archetype Infrastructure Solutions (AIS) is hiring 6 Data Center Technicians / Cable Pullers to support large-scale data center construction projects in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals with experience in structured cabling, cable pulling, telecommunications, or commercial construction. You'll work alongside experienced crews installing and organizing copper and fiber optic cabling inside some of the nation's most advanced data centers. Responsibilities Pull, route, and dress copper and fiber optic cabling throughout the data centerInstall cable tray, J-hooks, ladder rack, and cable management systemsAssist with cable labeling and documentationRack and stack networking equipment as directedMaintain proper bend radius and cable routing standardsAssist with loading, staging, and organizing materialsKeep work areas clean and organizedFollow all OSHA and job site safety requirementsWork closely with foremen and project leads to meet project deadlinesPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Experience pulling low-voltage, data, or fiber optic cableAbility to work in commercial construction or data center environmentsFamiliarity with basic hand toolsAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a teamReliable transportation to the job siteAbility to pass a background check and drug screening (if required) Preferred Structured cabling experienceData center experienceExperience installing ladder rack or cable trayFiber optic installation experienceOSHA 10 CertificationLift certification Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 poundsStand, bend, kneel, and climb ladders throughout the workdayWork in active construction environmentsAbility to work overtime and weekends as neededComfortable performing repetitive physical tasks Powered by JazzHR Tj185lDF5W
