About the role
Our client, a leading organization in data center operations, is seeking a Data Center Technician 2 to join their team. As a Data Center Technician 2, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting critical infrastructure deployment and maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, independence, and a proactive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Lead installation and deployment of servers, switches, storage, and GPU infrastructure.
- Configure BMC, iLO, and iDRAC management interfaces.
- Perform firmware, BIOS, and hardware validation activities.
- Troubleshoot server, storage, networking, power, and cabling issues.
- Support GPU cluster acceptance, commissioning, and testing activities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of data center operations, deployment engineering, or systems integration experience.
- Strong server, networking, and storage hardware knowledge.
- Experience with structured cabling and power distribution systems.
- Ability to work independently and support multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay
$35–42/hour, based on experience.
